Driver/Builder with 3/4 to 1 ton truck
**Must own 3/4 to 1 ton truck** This position requires at least a 3/4 to 1 ton truck to deliver our buildings - ex - F250, F350, Ram 2500, Ram 3500.
- Must have clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must have Carpentry Experience
Morgan Portable and Modular Buildings is looking for a Driver/Builder to deliver, install, and/or assemble our portable storage buildings in Baton Rouge, LA. Applicants will be driving their own truck (3/4 to 1 ton required) using Morgan trailers (20' bumper pull, 36' gooseneck) to deliver, install, and/or assemble our buildings. We are looking for high-energy, high-quality, dedicated workers who enjoy working as part of a team.
Pay:
60K to 80K a year
Job Requirements:
- Must live in the Baton Rouge or Baker area
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must have carpentry experience and carpentry tools.
- Experience with delivery driving and hauling, valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to learn a new skill in building assembly
- Operate various power tools including nail guns, drills, and skill saws
- Experience with carpentry, painting, leveling, building repair, roofing, installing windows, as well as installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, lofts, and doors
- Ability to measure and construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames
- Ability to load, unload and transport materials and finished product safely and efficiently
- Ability to build and assemble portable buildings on customers property
- Commitment to great customer service
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work in outside conditions such as; heat, cold, snow, and rain
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Will train the right person.
- Most loads are oversized loads that require a permit from DOT. This is a great opportunity to gain oversized load experience.
- No out of town travel required (Sometimes offered)
