About the Role
We are seeking an Apartment Community Manager to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of our community meet both company standards and applicable laws.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of maintenance technicians in diagnosing problems and providing resolutions.
- Mentoring and guiding maintenance technicians to increase their overall knowledge base and skill set.
- Providing expert knowledge and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywalling, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
- Establishing and preparing a 24-hour on-call schedule for your team and being personally available in the event of snow and ice or other on-site emergencies.
- Partnering with office staff to provide exceptional service and follow-up to residents on any maintenance issues that may arise.
- Managing and organizing inventory of all maintenance materials.
- Establishing a preventive maintenance schedule, make-ready schedule, and general work order schedule for the team.
- Regularly inspecting community buildings, including vacant units.
