Certified Medication Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Tech to join our team at Morgan Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

As a Certified Medication Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications, while also providing exceptional care and support to our elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents under the supervision of Nursing Management and/or designee.
• Provide assistance and/or supervision in the areas of medication administration, personal hygiene, meals, and activities of daily living.
• Participate in assuring a safe and hazard-free environment.
• Assist with medical procedures and treatments as needed.

Requirements

• Current, active CNA & CMT License in the state of RI - be willing to work as a CNA or CMT according to staffing needs.
• Medical Terminology, First Aid, CPR, Diabetic training, and experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Department of Human Services approved Medication Administration certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Dedication to helping senior citizens.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
