Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team at Morgan Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications to residents under the supervision of nursing management.
• Provide assistance and/or supervision in areas such as medication administration, personal hygiene, meals, and activities of daily living.
• Ensure a safe and hazard-free environment by participating in regular inspections and reporting any concerns.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Current, active CNA & CMT License in the state of RI.
• Ability to administer prescribed medications under the supervision of nursing management.
• Excellent customer service skills and dedication to helping senior citizens.
• Medical Terminology, First Aid, CPR, Diabetic training, and experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Department of Human Services approved Medication Administration certification.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Primary Series of the COVID Vaccine (or new bivalent COVID Vaccine or medical exemption).
