ENTERTAINMENT SUPERVISOR (Seasonal)
REPORTS TO: Entertainment Manager
DEPT: Entertainment
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists the Entertainment Manager in developing and implementing strategies for the successful production of stage shows, interactive performances, and other entertainment programming at Morgan's Wonderland.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist the Entertainment Manager in booking talent and developing performance schedules for all park productions and events
- Provide performance schedules and call times to talent and crew
- Act as point of contact for talent and crew on the day of performance
- Oversee sets and props, including setup and takedown as necessary
- Manage care and cleaning of costumes
- Oversee the technical aspects of performance (such as running sound and lights)
- Perform in shows when regular talent is unavailable
- Track show attendance numbers and feedback, and post them online for talent and crew to review
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education / Training:
- Performance Skills in theater, improvisation, public speaking, a/v awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including the use of Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills
- Cash handing skills are a plus
- Other Business Knowledge Requirements:
- Answer incoming calls on multi-line phone system
- Self – driven with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships in a diverse community
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work with special needs individuals in a learning environment
- Other Information
- Shifts vary day and evening.
- Available any day of week, specifically weekends
- Must be able to work during the holiday seasons
- Seasonal/ hourly position.
- Given hours are subject to change
- Must have reliable form of transportation
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds or more.
