SPLASH PAD ATTENDANT (Seasonal)
REPORTS TO: Aquatics Supervisor
DEPT: Operations
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for monitoring the safety of the guest at Morgan’s Inspiration Island.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor safe play of guest at each splash pad
- Maintain CPR/AED Certification (course provided with employment)
- Operate each attraction with a commitment to safety
- Provide exceptional guest service and a safe experience
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must have the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks.
- Guest service oriented
- Good communication skills
- Must successfully complete American Red Cross CPR/AED course
- Commitment to the mission and core values of Morgan’s Wonderland as well as the implementation of these values in all daily work activities.
Working Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting upper body.
- Must be comfortable working around chlorinated water.
- Frequently entering and exiting space containing water features.
- The work environment is an outdoor park environment with continuous outdoor activity and exposure to extreme weather conditions.
- Must remain alert with no lapses of consciousness.
- Continuous requirement for professional demeanor and appropriate park staff attire.
