The 1st & 2nd Shift Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of building & mechanical equipment used for processing in an industrial laundry setting. Candidates should possess building / mechanical maintenance & repair knowledge, and a thorough professional mindset with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve. Candidates should be detail-oriented w / ability to work autonomously and comply with all health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities :
- Servicing / maintaining equipment (including motors, conveyor system, HVAC system, compressors, & production machinery)
- Performing general building electrical & plumbing maintenance
- Completing Machinery & Building Maintenance Logs
- Communicating detailed progress on projects in progress
- Inspecting, assessing functionality, troubleshooting, & repairing production machinery
- Surveying buildings to ensure they are consistent with health / safety standards
- Installation or adjustments of mechanical parts using hand & machine tools
- Conducting general upkeep procedures & other tasks as assigned
