We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Analyst in ISG Fixed Income Operations Commodities Confirmations team member who is responsible for providing excellent operational service to clients trading OTC Derivatives from trade input through to confirmation execution.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Analyst level position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

Salary range for the position: $58,000 - $62,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. What You'll Do In The Role
- Process transactions/tasks within coverage area
- Respond to client requests with accuracy and speed, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
- Follow escalation framework, taking responsibility for identifying, escalating and preventing issues
- Raise issues, question others and offer solutions/ideas
- Acting as a conduit between the client and a number of different operational groups within Morgan Stanley, the representative is responsible for a number of daily activities based on risk management and relationship management
- Devise and employ new technology to capitalize Straight Through Processing, speed and accuracy of systems and procedures
- Ability to build trust and find innovative ways to improve teamwork, functions/processes and create a positive work environment
- Understanding of business area supported, client requirements, and importance of not compromising control to comply with client requests
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business
- At least 0-2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
- Knowledge of commodities and financial markets preferred
