Description:
The Client Tax Reporting Department is responsible for ensuring that all IRS reporting obligations are met for Forms 1099, 1042-S, and Puerto Rico 480.6 This individual will be responsible to troubleshoot, research and action client/stakeholder queries related to tax reporting requirements, regulations, processes and exceptions.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing tax reporting details to ensure accuracy of our 1099 and 1042-S processes while identifying process improvement opportunities through data analytics.

Tax/Accounting background; Client Service; Excel
2 years professional experience in operations not necessarily in tax. Although tax would be a plus.
Knowledge in IRS Chapter 3 & 4 NRA and FATCA regulations
Knowledge of withholding and reporting
Must be familiar with the various types of client account classifications, tax document requirements and associated withholding and reporting requirements
Proficiency with Excel and relevant computer programs is required
Ability to work nights and weekends generally during the months of Jan to April (tax season) and as needed.
Soft skills as they will be on the phones with FA/CSA’s
Eagerness to learn and ability to analyze issues and escalate
High Level Primary Responsibilities include:
Assists Financial Advisors via MSSN/PSN calls and Case Management tickets that are sent to Tax Ops-Assist in reviewing Year End Processing, Mass corrections, IRS Files, Reclasses
Process daily reconciliation and ad hoc break report reviews
Assist in creating and reviewing audit procedure documentation
Undergraduate Degree is required
This is a hybrid position with 3 days on-site (start on-site).
Interviews: 2 Rounds on Zoom, if 1st round goes well
Salary : $25 - $26
