The Technical Writer is responsible for developing content for new and existing products. This role will require working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The Technical Writer researches products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience.
What We Are Looking For :
- Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
- Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
- Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, form documentation, and help information.
- Ensure proper review of content by relevant reviewers (e.g., SMEs, peers as needed).
- Research, develop, and write content for multiple types of media, including documentation, video, and AR procedures publications for documentation and supporting materials for technical procedures relating to the software and hardware of 3DS products.
- During the documentation planning phase, continually consider varying levels of the users.
- Plan daily activities and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Manage translation requests and process and relationship with the translation vendor.
- Manage software support knowledge base working with relevant support agents and product management.
