What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Morgan Steel Llc?
This job will consist of conducting general maintenance and mechanical work at Morgan Steel. The employee will be responsible for conducting and assisting with monthly preventative maintenance tasks on all of the machinery, equipment, and facilities used by Morgan Steel. This candidate will work closely with our current technicians to learn the operational and mechanical functioning of the production equipment in an effort to troubleshoot and fix issues. Some light assistance with fabrication and assembly will be expected when necessary to complete tasks.
This candidate will need to possess the following:
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Basic knowledge of general electrical work
Basic knowledge of mechanics and mechanical operations
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to understand and relay information written, spoken, text message and email
Any prior knowledge of CNC or industrial machines is a plus but not necessary
Must be able to lift 75lbs
Must be able to work in confined spaces in abnormal positions
