What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at MORGAN STEEL LLC?
This position sets up and runs press brake machine(s) to meet production requirements.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, perform daily operator maintenance, and keep a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Ensure that Company/Plant Safety/Health Practices and Environmental Regulations are rigidly adhered to.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Able to set up and operate CNC press brake to form metal parts to blueprint/drawing
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to read and operate basic measurement tools
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift 10/25/50 pounds regularly
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment most of the day
Must be punctual and have reliable attendance
Must be a strong trouble-shooter
Good interpersonal skills
Strong background in a production manufacturing environment
