What You’ll Do:
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll report to the HRBP Leader and serve as a strategic and hands-on HR advisor supporting a mixed union and non-union workforce at a single-site, 24/7 industrial facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with union leadership and management on labor relations matters and contract negotiations.

Conduct investigations into employee relations matters, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Implement performance management practices, support corrective action planning, and coach leaders.

Participate in workforce planning and succession planning in collaboration with TA and leadership.

Assist employees with benefit questions and coordinate with the benefits team as needed.

Support the recruiting process and participate in candidate interviews.

Generate and interpret HRIS data to guide decision-making.

Provide proactive, on-call HR support and serve as a trusted resource for all levels of the organization.
What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 5 years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience in a unionized, industrial environment

Proven success handling labor relations and employee grievance processes

Calm demeanor, strong problem-solving ability, and commitment to employee engagement

Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Willingness to support a 24/7 environment and provide on-call HR support when needed
