Location: Remote (Must reside in Ohio or have experience with Ohio Medicaid/Healthcare market)
Our client, a large managed care organization headquartered in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support operations in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement business intelligence (BI) solutions to monitor and analyze financial and operational performance

Support all aspects of the month-end close and reporting process

Analyze financial results and deliver insights on variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior year performance

Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial operations and reporting efficiency

Assist in the creation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analyses

Provide financial analysis and reporting to business leadership, internal audit, and external auditors

Ensure implementation of key internal controls in alignment with company policy

Produce internal and external reports with clarity and accuracy

Handle ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)

MBA and/or CPA certification (preferred)

5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting

Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate finance principles

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, analysis)

Experience with financial modeling and BI tools preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Experience in managed care and/or with Ohio Medicaid programs strongly preferred
