Plant Human Resources Manager
Location: Madisonville, LA
Full-Time | Salary: $80,000–$85,000 Bonus
Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a dynamic Plant Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions at our Madisonville, LA facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and aligning HR strategies with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead all plant HR activities including employee relations, staffing, compensation, benefits, training and development, and policy interpretation.

Manage staffing levels through effective manpower planning and cost-efficient employment programs.

Develop and execute employee retention and engagement strategies in collaboration with Plant Operations.

Monitor and enhance employee relations climate; investigate complaints and resolve issues, including disciplinary actions as necessary.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws, including EEO and Wage & Hour regulations.

Administer corporate compensation and benefits programs, including performance appraisals and MBOs.

Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, ensuring consistent and fair application of all company policies.

Develop and deliver training programs to support regulatory compliance and plant needs.

Partner with operations to execute safety initiatives, the Emergency Response Plan, and reduce Workers' Compensation costs.

Maintain accurate employee records including payroll, benefits, and personnel files.

Provide timely and accurate reporting on HR metrics and activities.

Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification a plus).

5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, training, and compensation administration.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
