Experienced Production Associate/Assembler
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced production associate/assembler to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of manufacturing experience and a strong background in assembly and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble multiple pieces and completed truck bodies.
- Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, instructions, and labels.
- Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using various saws, sheers, and cutters.
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners.
- Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools.
- Perform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as required.
- Examine finished project for quality and defects.
- Perform safety and quality checks.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of previous experience in manufacturing.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills.
- Working with hand and power tools.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Previous experience working on truck bodies is preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
The job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds.
