Experienced Production Associate/Assembler
Job Title: Experienced Production Associate/Assembler - 2nd Shift
Location: Janesville, WI
About the Job
This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you will be building and assembling various truck bodies. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of manufacturing experience and strong skills in working with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret orders and specifications, blueprints, instructions, and labels which may contain hazardous warnings and cautions
- Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using a variety of saws, shears, and cutters
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
- Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools
- Perform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as required
- Examine finished project for quality and defects
- Perform safety and quality checks
Requirements
- At least 6 years of previous experience in manufacturing
- Must be 18 years old
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- Working with hand and power tools
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
Additional Information
We offer a competitive salary range of $37,800 - $45,598 per year based on a 40-hour workweek, plus an additional $8-$10 per hour for 2nd shift differential.
