Do you love hands-on manufacturing work? We're looking for skilled welders to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC!
As a Heavy Equipment Welder - Aluminum and Steel, you'll be working primarily on aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials. Your high grade of skill will be put to the test as you operate various welding equipment and tools.
Key responsibilities include:
- Wiring trucks from front to rear lights, camera sensors, and custom requests
- Ensuring high safety measures while working, including protective gear for face and body
- Examining equipment after welding and advising maintenance of defects
- Operating heavy equipment, such as industrial saws
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Pass a weld test
- Be proficient in three or more of the following welding materials: mild steel, galvanneal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel
- Have 6 years of welding experience
- Have basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints
Additional preferred qualifications include prior experience in manufacturing, working on truck bodies, and holding a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
