As an experienced welder, you will be responsible for operating various welding equipment, working primarily on aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials, requiring a high level of skill.
Our manufacturing plant environment demands attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting. If you have at least 6 years of manufacturing experience and can proficiently work with multiple welding materials, we encourage you to apply.
Here are some key responsibilities:
- Operating industrial saws and heavy equipment
- Welding metals according to customer or employer requirements
- Inspecting equipment after welding and advising maintenance of defects
- Planning and executing welding operations
For this role, we require:
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Proficient in three or more of the following welding materials: mild steel, galvanneal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel
- 6 years of welding experience
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in manufacturing, working on truck bodies, and having a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
