Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $16.50 to $21.54 per hour, depending on experience. Job Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Building and assembly of various truck body components
- Reading and interpreting orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions
- Cutting wood or metals to specific sizes using various saws, sheers, and cutters
- Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
You will also be responsible for operating pneumatic tools and hand tools, performing setup and maintenance tasks as required, examining finished projects for quality and defects, and adhering to all safety policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- The ability to work with hand and power tools
- Experience working on truck bodies (preferable but not required)
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED (preferable but not required)
