We're seeking an experienced welder to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC! As a welder for truck body manufacturing, you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welding metals according to customer or employer requirements
- Inspecting equipment after welding and advising maintenance of defects
- Operating industrial saws and heavy equipment
- Reading blueprints and weld according to plan
For this role, we require:
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Proficient in three or more of the following welding materials: mild steel, galvanneal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel
- 6 years of welding experience
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in manufacturing, working on truck bodies, and having a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
