Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate welding operations to meet production demands and quality standards
- Supervise and train junior and entry-level welders to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to maintain safety and efficiency
- Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in welding, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Proven track record of improving productivity and quality
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math and computer skills
