What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level EDI Software Developer position at Morgan White Group?
The Entry-Level EDI Software Developer will report to the Vice President of Software Development & Project Manager and is based at 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland MS 39157.
GENERAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop, implement, and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of EDI systems with our existing software applications.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, documentation, and testing.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, including HIPAA compliance for EDI processes.
- Create custom scripts and automate workflows to enhance EDI operations and minimize manual intervention.
- Set up and test new trading partner connections, including configuring protocols such as AS2, FTP, and SFTP.
- Troubleshoot EDI transaction issues with trading partners to ensure accurate data exchange.
- Work closely with business analysts and project managers to translate business requirements into technical EDI specifications.
- Maintain a repository of reusable code and common assets through Azure DevOps.
