Overview

Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, medication administration, and other necessary interventions.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in medical practices, treatments, and technologies.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Proficiency in medical-surgical practices and understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience with venipuncture techniques and medication administration.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care.
- Familiarity with both outpatient and inpatient care environments.
- Basic life support certification is required; advanced certifications are a plus.
