Morgantown Bank & Trust, an independent, community-based financial institution, is seeking applicants for an experienced Loan Processor.
Job Summary
- Provides administrative assistance to the loan officers and staff, including updating loan data into the bank’s computer system
- Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation
- Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signature, dates, vesting, legal descriptions and other relevant data
- Uploads loan data into core
- Scans and indexes documents daily
- Performs variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures
- Cross-markets financial institution products and services as appropriate
- Performs other such duties as requested
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months to one year of experience in banking
- Good understanding of financial institution products and services
- Ability to pay close attention to detail in a busy work environment
