We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Wiles Hill Ambassador to join our team. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including conducting tours, performing light cleaning tasks, interacting with guests, and assisting with the opening and closing of the building. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, have a passion for engaging with the public, and be detail-oriented when handling money and other duties.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Tours:
- Lead guided tours of the building, providing engaging and informative commentary.
- Answer questions from visitors, ensuring a positive and educational experience.
- Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests as they arrive, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Inform visitors about available opportunities within the building and answer inquiries regarding events or services.
- Building Maintenance:
- Perform light cleaning tasks to ensure the building is well-maintained and presentable.
- Assist with tidying up common areas, restrooms, and tour spaces.
- Opening and Closing Duties:
- Responsible for securing the building during opening and closing times, ensuring all entrances are properly locked and secured.
- Turn on/off lighting, HVAC systems, and any necessary equipment for daily operation.
- Cash Register & Money Handling:
- Operate the cash register during guest transactions, ensuring accurate handling of payments.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, providing receipts and making change when necessary.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and report any discrepancies to management.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with coordinating any events or special tours as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Comfortable with light cleaning duties.
