Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring smooth administrative processes, supporting team members, and maintaining a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Excellence: Lead by example in the showroom, engaging with customers to understand their needs and recommend the best products (granite, stone, cabinets, and flooring).
- Customer Education: Provide knowledgeable, friendly service to customers, guiding them through product selections, pricing, and installation processes.
- Showroom Operations: Manage the showroom floor, ensuring it is organized, welcoming, and fully stocked with samples and materials.
- Lead Generation & Follow-Up: Proactively seek out new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and maintain relationships with current clients.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work with the company’s leadership team to track sales performance, manage inventory, and oversee showroom events and promotions. Compile and distribute reports.
- Transition to Manager Role: As a future Showroom/Office Manager, take on responsibilities such as manage calendars and scheduling of services, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing office logistics, and supervising the sales team.
- Assist CEO: Complete errands as assigned by CEO.
Ideal Candidate:
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the home improvement or interior design industry (granite, cabinetry, or flooring experience is a plus but not required).
- Leadership Potential: We are looking for someone with the ambition and desire to move into a managerial role. Leadership experience is preferred but not essential.
- Customer-Centric: Strong ability to connect with customers and provide exceptional service throughout the sales process.
- Problem-Solver: Ability to handle multiple tasks, solve customer issues, and manage day-to-day showroom operations efficiently.
- Team Player: Willing to collaborate with both internal team members and external vendors to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage both sales and operational responsibilities with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Preferred Skills: Payroll Systems, HR Practices, and Accounting Software Proficiency. A background in clerical work or administrative support will be advantageous.
