Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report suspicious activities or incidents.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or hazards.
- Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports of incidents.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- Must possess relevant security certification or training.
- Experience in loss prevention or surveillance is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with CCTV operations and monitoring systems.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred; training may be provided if necessary.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus but not required.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
