Project Controls

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Project Controls Analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience in cost and schedule analysis for horizontal construction projects to support the LA Metro Bus Rapid Transit Project . The ideal candidate will assist with financial tracking, cost forecasting, schedule management, and compliance with project funding agreements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in preparing and analyzing project cash flow, funding, and manpower plans in accordance with grant and funding agreements .
• Support cost management efforts , ensuring compliance with LACMTA policies, procedures, and project plans for large-scale highway and transit projects .
• Evaluate contract change orders and modifications for potential budget and schedule impacts.
• Maintain accurate financial and schedule records , ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Support the development and periodic updates of the cost / schedule baseline plan and project status reports.
• Identify and assist in resolving cost-related issues , providing recommendations for corrective actions .
• Assist in cost forecasting, invoice processing, and financial tracking for project expenditures.
• Maintain project data within the Project Management Information System (PMIS) .
