Human Resources Manager
Location: Massachusetts & Rhode Island (Some Travel Required)
Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and drive strategic initiatives that enhance our workforce and company culture.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Human Resources Manager with a strong background in HR leadership, employee engagement, and compliance. This role will oversee all aspects of HR across our organization, ensuring alignment with business goals while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced, multi-location hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR initiatives that support company growth, workforce planning, and employee retention.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding strategies to attract top talent and maintain consistent hiring practices.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, ensuring a positive workplace culture, proactive conflict resolution, and effective performance management.
- HR Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure policies and procedures align with federal and state employment laws. Maintain and update the employee handbook and oversee compliance audits.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, renewals, and employee education. Partner with leadership to evaluate compensation structures.
- Training & Development: Design and oversee leadership development programs, performance management processes, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Workplace Investigations & Conflict Resolution: Conduct internal investigations, oversee employee relations matters, and advise managers on progressive discipline strategies.
- Safety & Risk Management: Develop and maintain workplace safety programs, oversee workers’ compensation claims, and drive initiatives to enhance workplace well-being.
- HR Technology & Systems: Optimize HRIS systems and ensure accurate data management, reporting, and process automation.
- Multi-Location Oversight: Regularly travel to all Morin’s locations to maintain a visible HR presence and support location-specific needs.
- HR Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor HR team members as the department grows.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR) preferred.
- Proven success in managing HR functions in hospitality, restaurants, or multi-location businesses.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance, and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and partner with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to travel regularly to locations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
