About the role
Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries is looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to work across a range of programmes and provide leadership for our entry programme (UAL L2 Diploma) within our Art and Design Programme Area.
We are looking for a creative and innovative teacher who is passionate about supporting and challenging students to realise their creative potential. We need an individual who is confident to lead courses and teach across a range of abilities and art and design disciplines. As a Senior Lecturer, you will work with the Programme Area Manager to grow the provision at the centre and strengthen progression routes.
You will be committed to working collaboratively to deliver a high-quality contemporary experience for our students, including their pastoral care. You will have a teaching qualification (or be working towards one) and have confidence teaching 16-19 study programmes. A sound understanding of designing successful learning experiences tailored to our Level 2 provision is essential.
The Chelsea Centre for Creative Industries is a specialist centre offering study programmes and higher education routes into the creative sector across Art, Design, and Media curriculum areas. It is a collaborative and creative community that encourages ideas, innovation, and change.
