What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Host/Producer, YouTube (Contract) position at Morning Brew Inc.?
This is a contract position starting ASAP for one month (one video).

We are looking for a creative and experienced host/producer who can create engaging long-form content for Morning Brew’s main YouTube channel.
The role would require the host/producer to take the lead on every aspect of video production (not including motion GFX or final edit). The ideal candidate will possess a combination of research/writing skills, technical capabilities, on-camera experience, and have a passion for storytelling.
This role will be for candidates located in the United States only.

Here's What You'll Be Working On
- Pitch story ideas that align with the company's brand pillars (business news & stories, your money, entrepreneurship & innovation)
- Conduct thorough research, and drive interviews (on background, remote and in the field)
- Write an accurate, engaging and informative script that feels optimized for YouTube and retention
- Self shoot in the field in a vlog style
- Serve as the on-camera host
- Work closely with MoGFX team and editors
- Based in the Greater New York City area and able to work onsite as needed
- Aware of Morning Brew’s long form content and be able to identify stories that feel right for the brand
- Experience in pitching, producing, writing and hosting video content (preferably for YouTube)
- Ability to edit a stringout on Adobe Premiere
- Strong on-camera presence with strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong journalistic instincts and skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Interest in business-related news
