What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spray Technician position at Morning Dew Landscaping, Inc.?
Morning Dew Landscaping is looking to fill the position of lead spray technician. Ideally this candidate currently holds a current Applicator Certification with the Arizona Pest Management Division although this is not required upon commencement of employment. Candidates without this certification who possess a driven, goal oriented related mindset will also be considered and will be expected to become registered with the state of Arizona within their first 90 days of employment and with the commitment to become certified during the first season of employment. This position will be full time with the expectation of overtime during the peak season (April - September) and will be considered a year-round position.
Duties:
Back pack spraying, UTV spraying, spraying from the truck, medians, planter areas, turf areas, trees and woody plant material applications, pre-emergent applications, mixing, calibration. Safety measures to adhere to personal protective equipment, local, state and federal laws tied to spray applications. Assist director of this division with a variety of scopes of work.
Must have a valid driver's license with a 3 year clean driving record.
