What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back Of House position at Morning Lavender?
Morning Lavender Cafe in Tustin, CA is looking for one Back of House food prep/dishwasher to join our diverse and fun team! Our ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, and strong team player.
Responsibilities:
- Prep food items for daily cafe and weekend tea service.
- Basic food preparation knowledge and knife skills.
- Keeping the back of house clean and orderly.
- Ensuring all ingredients are in stock for recipes to be completed.
- Washing all dishes used in preparation of recipes.
- Physical Requirements: Standing on feet for longer than 6 hours and able to lift up to 20 lbs
Qualifications
- Hold a valid Food Handlers Certificate (we can provide training!)
- Experience working in a back of house position.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
