Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant/CNA to join our team at Morning Pointe Memory Care communities.
As a Resident Assistant/CNA, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care and support to our residents with Alzheimer's and dementia-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care.
- Provide assistance with meals and snacks, as well as setup, service, and feeding if necessary.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
Requirements:
- Must have a "can do" attitude and enjoy caring for others.
- Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic are essential.
- Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills are required.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
- At least 18 years of age and able to read and write.
