Toddler Teacher - Full time

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong background in early childhood education. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating and nurturing young minds in a safe, engaging, Christian environment.

Full-time shifts are 7am-3pm or 9:30am-5:30pm depending on position.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to stimulate children's learning
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children to grow and develop
- Monitor and assess students' progress to ensure individualized learning goals are met
- Collaborate with Directors and parents to support each child's developmental needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe classroom environment
- Implement positive discipline techniques to encourage appropriate behavior

Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
- Experience in daycare, nannying, or special education is advantageous

- Ability to lift 50 pounds

As a Christian daycare we base our curriculum off of Scripture, pray with the children throughout the day and meet once a week for “Chapel”, a small mid-week service highlighting the Bible Story of the week and an opportunity for praise. We view our positions as staff members as an act of worship and service to the Lord. It is because of these things that we must choose team members who are sincere in their beliefs and reflect God’s love in their words and deeds.

2. Maintain a high level of personal integrity, honesty, and confidentiality in dealing both with the staff and families.

We deem these as fundamental characteristics of potential members of staff.

3. Maintain a Christian outlook and attitude at all times.

Our attitudes are reflected in our actions and words so we must regulate them accordingly.
