Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Collect and document data on client behavior and progress towards goals.
- Assist clients in developing daily living skills and social skills through structured activities.
- Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client progress and challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly Adult or those with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with behavioral health principles and practices.
- Understanding of applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to patient care.
- Strong patient assessment skills to evaluate client needs effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and families.
