Summary:
The basic function of the Pre-Employment Transition Services Facilitator is to coordinate, deliver, and facilitate Pre-Employment Transition Services to enrolled students aged 14-21 who have an Individualized Education Plan, 504 Plan, or a Documented Diagnoses.

What You'll Do:
- Provide workplace readiness training through soft skills training, time management, punctuality, financial literacy, mock interviews, resume building, accessing services/supports, and more!
- Support work-based learning, through job shadowing, workplace tours, informational interviews, and paid internships.
- Encourage and promote self-advocacy to ensure students know their rights and responsibilities in the workplace.
- Educate students, parents, educators, employers, and community partners on the ELEVATE Program and Pre-Employment Transition Services. Autonomously speak and present to group of students and their support systems.
- Coordination, delivery, and facilitation of Pre-Employment Transition Services to groups of up to 30 students in a virtual and classroom setting in various school districts and other locations.
- Effectively communicate with School District Staff throughout coordination and delivery of services.
- Discover and develop internship opportunities in the community that meet the needs of the student. Working within high school environments and adhering to individual school policies and rules.
- Ensure all services include ongoing, clear, and professional communications with all significant individuals and groups to maximize the positive outcome of services. Establish and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders including the business community and high schools.
- Participate and help facilitate School-to-Work, a multi-faceted effort to start employment services early by combining school district, county and state funds and help students become employed before graduating from their High School Transition program.

Qualifications:
- Must pass Washington State and national background checks.
- Background checks are on-going throughout employment.
- Must pass the LEIE screening, excluded individuals and entities (LEIE) checks are processed at time of hire, monthly, and annually.
