Position Overview
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our community, ensuring that high standards of care and service are maintained. Your role will include managing staff, developing community programs, and fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in community management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects of the community, including resident care, staffing, budgeting, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote social engagement and well-being among residents.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a high level of service and care.
- Lead financial planning and ensure resources are allocated effectively for community growth and success.
- Monitor and evaluate community performance to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Represent the community in the local area, building strong connections within the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, gerontology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of three years of experience managing an assisted living or memory care community.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of seniors.
- Excellent organizational abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in senior care.
- Proven ability to develop programs that foster community engagement and support residents.
