Position Overview:
As a Delivery Driver at Morningstar Coffee, your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate delivery of coffee, espresso equipment, and related products to our hospitality customers. You’ll be the face of the company, representing Morningstar through direct customer interactions and high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, an attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor to interact with our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver coffee and related products to hospitality clients
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and on time while maintaining a positive relationship with customers
- Maintain an organized inventory of coffee equipment and parts on the assigned company vehicle
- Assist in managing the fleet vehicle, keeping it clean and properly stocked with necessary tools and supplies
- Follow company protocols for handling work tickets, warranty claims, and parts ordering
- Utilize company-provided software to update service statuses and equipment reports in real-time
- Collaborate with the service team and customers to ensure all needs are met
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to learn about coffee equipment and troubleshooting methods
- Experience in customer-facing roles or service positions is a plus
- Comfortable using technology to log deliveries and provide service updates
