Job Summary:
This position will prepare and implement a Sales Plan to grow the business, contact new and existing clients in each market. The Regional Director of Sales cultivates and maintains quality relationships with referral sources, clients and staff members to drive customer satisfaction. The Regional Director of Sales has authority to bind the company in matters of resident agreements, is responsible for maintaining a desired census, communicating with family members regarding financial matters, communicating and interacting with the outside community, conducting marketing programs, planning and implementing marketing events, designing and creating marketing brochures, speaking before groups, assisting with family issues and resolutions, working with referral agencies, organizations and institutions, and completing and maintaining admission records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Education: Two years or more of college preferred
Job Knowledge: Awareness of senior living community resources and needs, awareness of senior living services and cost structures, knowledge of related services available throughout the surrounding neighborhood and awareness of the competition and their rates.
Travel Requirement: Ability to travel to Communities as deemed necessary by Senior Leadership 65-75% of the time.
Other: Work well with people including staff, residents, families, and outside community; communicate the services of the facility to prospective residents and the community, speak before large groups; be personable and friendly; ability to drive, conduct tours of the community and work independently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Travels within the region to collaborate with senior leadership and area teams to develop a strategic Sales & Marketing Plan in growing new and/or underperforming communities.
- Assess needs and issues that arise during community fill-up and develop resolutions or recommend specific strategies and plans to improve Sales & Marketing efficiency and performance of sales team.
- Works with local sales teams to evaluate the Sales & Marketing Plans for the region to ensure the communities generate enough leads to meet or exceed budgeted occupancy goals.
- Identifies market needs and trends, maintains knowledge of competitor business practices and market reach within the region to determine effective business development plans for each community.
- Develop C-Level professional business partnerships for the region that would drive traffic to the local communities.
- Participate in the evaluation and analysis of market source statistics and provide recommendations to the overall business development plan for the communities to maximize referral potential.
- Provides sales support within the region as needed when the community has an open sales position or during the recruitment process of new communities.
- Conducts sales training and ride-a-long sessions with sales teams as needed to support region business development strategies.
- Conducts quality assurance audits on a quarterly basis to ensure MSSL Policies and Procedures are being executed within the region by the sales teams.
- Assist with onboarding and sales training of new sales team members as needed within the region.
- Handle financial arrangements related to admissions and acquire necessary information and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
