SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The HR Manager will be working closely with the entire company to create a positive work environment for all employees. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing job board postings, conducting interviews, employee hiring and handling the onboarding process. The HR Manager will also be assisting with performance reviews and coaching; provide guidance and recommendations on employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and exit interviews. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with stakeholders and ensure seamless communication in a global and multicultural context.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Maintain accurate employee records and support internal audits of documentation as needed to ensure compliance.
- Create job descriptions and manage job board postings, responses, and candidate interactions.
- Handle interviews, make hiring recommendations, and handle onboarding of new staff members.
- Advise on compliance matters related to employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Counsel management and staff on HR policies and procedures to establish best practices and create a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for staff disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Recommend policy changes to company handbook and operations.
- Manage all PTO and sick leave for staff, ensuring compliance with employee policy and guidelines.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work.
- Assist with interdepartmental staff issues and communication to keep the company running smoothly.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives for employees, including safety training, technical skills development, and leadership programs.
- Identify training needs, develop training materials, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Manage HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.
- Advise on HR technology solutions, including Human Resources Information Systems, payroll systems, and applicant tracking systems.
- Assist in selecting, implementing, and optimizing HR technology platforms.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and other strategic HR initiatives.
