Overview:
Under the direction of the Visual Merchandising Manager, the Associate Manager is responsible for maintaining visual merchandising guidelines and communicating visual concepts and strategies to promote the Moroccanoil brand in salons and in distributor stores.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Maintain Visual Merchandising Guidelines, planograms, and directives to support brand visual objectives.
- Coordinate day-to-day creative and strategic process and execution of the Visual Merchandising and Promotions marketing calendar, plans and programs.
- Support brand visual communication, design and presentation of merchandising for spas, salons and distributor stores.
- Review and present prototype samples. Follow up with suppliers and respective divisions of Moroccanoil’s Marketing & Sales Divisions as well as purchasing officer to ensure timely development of merchandising, promotions and other related materials needed to drive programs and initiatives.
- Help manage all salon customization and identify ideal brand marketing in key market accounts.
- Update visual merchandising packs to communicate visual guidelines and inspirations including layout principles, visual dressings and signage.
- Identify and source props and seasonal enhancements to drive retail sales.
- Adhere to a budget. Track and document all merchandising spendings.
- Fulfill ad hoc requests to merchandise internal meeting rooms for training, presentations, etc.’ (e.g. the Academy)
Skills & Abilities:
- University degree in Marketing; Visual Merchandising or a related field.
- 3-5 years of work experience in visual merchandising for prestige companies. Experience in the beauty industry is preferred.
- Conceptual thinker, strong sensibility for shape, materials and 3D visualization.
- Ability to create mock ups, planograms and schematics.
- Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes, finishes and materials
- Experience in graphic design. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dimensions).
- Advanced knowledge of 3D design programs such as Sketchup/ Keyshot.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.
- Project management experience is an asset.
