What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager - Social Services (Child and Family Services) position at MORONGO BAND OF MISSION INDIANS INC?
Under the general supervision of the Director of Social Services, will serve in the function as the day-to-day manager within the Morongo Tribal Social Services. The main responsibility will be providing support to MTSS around child welfare services, preventive services, emergency services, conservatorship, and guardianship services or other related services. The MCFS Child Welfare Services Manager will be expected to implement pre-established Social Services’ policies and procedures, organize, schedule, plan, coordinate and monitor the work of assigned staff, and train staff on program requirements. The MCFS Child Welfare Services Manager also helps coordinate the activities in their areas of assignment with other Morongo Department programs as such Community Services and Morongo Tribal TANF; communicate with the general membership, interested constituencies, and customers; and provide analyses of services to upper management. Direct supervision is exercised over a small number of staff; indirect supervision may be exercised over a significant number of staff.
