What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at MORONGO BAND OF MISSION INDIANS?
Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Issue, open, and serve wine and champagne. Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, glasses, dishes and other tools. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with customers and staff
- Knowledge of all phases of beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity of all beverage services required
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Valid Food Handler Card is required prior to starting work
- Bartending license/certificate preferred
- Availability to work nights and weekends, flexibility with scheduling
- High school diploma or GED preferred
