What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist-Tribal Admin position at MORONGO BAND OF MISSION INDIANS?
Under the direction of the Tribal Services Administrator, operate a central Tribal telephone system and provide information to the public; perform a variety of general office activities in support of the Morongo Tribal Administration office.
1. Operate an assigned telephone system to receive and place telephone calls; take and transmit messages; transfers calls to voice mail as necessary; provide routine information regarding office hours, Tribal programs, schedules and related matters as directed.
2. Greet on-site visitors; determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel; monitor visitor access and issues passes as required.
3. Assist Tribal Members with questions/requests, etc.
4. Receive, sort, and route mail; maintain and route publications.
5. Maintains fax machines, assists users, sends faxes and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
6. Creates and prints memos, correspondence, reports and other documents when necessary.
7. Performs clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating.
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year of general office experience including the operation of a multi-line telephone system.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
