Job Summary
The job of Site Technology Support Specialist was established for the purpose / s of providing computer technology support; serve as the initial and primary point of contact for site clients and users; provides first-level technical support and escalation to high-level technical support services for the operation and use of district computers / laptops, software / online applications, peripheral equipment, user support, standard operating software; identifies, diagnoses, supports and provides level one problem resolution for users, personal computers, software, hardware, network connectivity / Internet, new technology, tech ticket system, and / or on-site environment. Communicates solutions to end users in-person, over the phone, via e-mail for District approved PC hardware and software, and performs related duties as assigned under the District Information Technology Department Management.
Requirements / Qualifications
Provide technology support; install and / or replace computers and other electronic or digital devices; troubleshoot and resolve computer equipment and user problems; perform minor computer and peripheral equipment repairs.
REQUIREMENTS : High School Diploma or equivalent, Job related experience in the area of computer technology support is required.

Position is itinerant for the East End of the District (29 Palms).
