Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a clean and presentable environment.
- Provide residential cleaning services, ensuring that homes are kept tidy and organized according to client specifications.
- Handle carpet cleaning duties using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure carpets are clean and well-maintained.
- Launder linens and other fabrics as needed, ensuring they are fresh and ready for use.
- Assist in custodial tasks within commercial settings, including restrooms, lobbies, and common areas.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Support housekeeping management by reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning roles such as hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
