The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations function while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction and contributing to the company’s bottom line through efficient and cost-effective management of warehouse and fleet operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Continually train and develop all employees to achieve company and department goals
· Proactively maintain warehouse staff by working with Human Resources on recruiting needs and retention
· Conduct regular performance evaluations for all direct reports
· Create employee schedules to meet business needs and control overtime
· Ensure that service levels for all sub-departments within operations are met
· Maintain equipment and correct any issues, escalating to the Director of Operations as needed
· Make sure that inventory levels are accurate by assisting with conducting daily physical cycle counts
· Ensure effective warehouse layout and space utilization
· Open and close the facility as needed
· Work with dispatch on scheduling deliveries, vehicle repairs, and maintaining driver pre-trip inspection logs
· Comply with OSHA and company guidelines to maintain the facility’s health and safety standards
· Performs other duties as assigned by management as needed
Qualifications:
· Minimum 4-5 years of warehouse supervisor experience
· ERP system experience (P21 is a plus)
· Two-year Associates Degree or equivalent experience (required)
· Bachelors in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration (preferred)
· Strong knowledge of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Works well in a fast-paced environment
· Proven ability to implement and improve processes
· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
