The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting Project Managers with a large variety of tasks and responsibilities including change management, project set up, material ordering and submittals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite in particular Excel
- Carpentry or drywall background
- 1-3 years of professional and/or related construction internship experience required
- Strong document control skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors
Responsibilities
- Perform all essential Project Engineer responsibilities.
- Attend and document project meetings (write minutes)
- Set up and maintain electronic filing system.
- Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications, and logs.
- Evaluate and understand basic construction means and methods.
- Distribute all documents to clients/subcontractors and maintain document logs.
- Review, analyze, and transmit submittals.
- Prepare and maintain submittal logs and procurement log.
- Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets.
- Code Accounts Payable Workflows as assigned.
- Report quantities in place and maintain labor cost report.
- Receive, prepare and coordinate material and equipment delivery orders through the enterprise warehouse
- Review and assemble change orders and submittals.
- Compile contracts close out documents (O&M manuals, as-builts, etc.)
- Maintain record set drawings.
- Document punch list work.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
- Prepare meeting agendas and lead meetings
- Positive attitude and good sense of humor
- Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced team environment
